$25,000? I would do that shit for free in a heartbeat.
Nothing but questions arise when it comes to Wu-Tang's most famous member, Ol' Dirty Bastard and also known nowadays as Dirt McGirt. After being home for more than a year already fans all over the world ask themselves "What is going on with ODB?". He has been fairly quiet the last year. Hey come on, we're talking about ODB here, there have been times that he was in the news almost every day of the week.
Music is what fans care about the most and therefore it's no surprise that most of the questions fans have for ODB are about his album. There isn't a day going by that we get e-mail or a topic on the forum asking "When the hell is ODB releasing an album?" Somewhere between now and the next three months we should be receiving our highly anticipated doses of ODB.
The album, entitled Dirt McGirt, features a vast array of artists such as Ludacris, Macy Gray, Chad, Pharell, Method Man, Raekwon, Masta Killa, Ghostface and many more. The song Keep The Receipt which was planned to be on Kanye West's debut album College Dropout will be the Dirt McGirt album. Other producers for this project are RZA, The Neptunes, Swizz Beats, Soul Diggas and Rockwilder. Backed up by two teams, the album will be a musical Roc-A-Fella/Wu-Tang blend.
Besides the album, Ol' Dirty Bastard is also working on DVDs, movies and a tour is in the works as he will be able to tour outside of the country again next December. His clothing company should launch nationwide when the album comes out, as of yet there is no release date known yet. For more information about the clothing company you can call 1866-ODB-DIRT.
